This guide will show you how to sync app licenses between devices using Windows 8. To start, open the Start screen on your computer and type “applications.” This will open the Applications folder. Next, click on the “All Apps” icon in the lower left corner of the screen. This will open a list of all the apps installed on your computer. Scroll down until you see “Microsoft Office.” Click on it and then click on the “App Licenses” icon in the lower right corner of the window that opens. This will open a window that lists all of your app licenses. To sync an app license between devices, first make sure that you have installed that same version of that app on both devices. Force Sync App Licenses
First press the Windows key to get to the Start Screen, then launch the Store app.
Now push the Win + C keyboard combination or move your mouse cursor to the bottom right hand corner of the screen to bring up the Charms menu, then click on the Settings Charm.
When the Settings Charm opens, click on App updates.
On the left hand side you will see a Sync licenses button. Click on it.
That’s all there is to it. You can now install the app on all your devices!
